Basha reacted for Patozi's accusations

Basha reacted for Patozi's accusations

Lulzim Basha spoke for the first time about the comments made by the main figures of the Democratic Party, Sokol Olldashi and Astrit Patozi, who said that the voting procedure was not correct and that Berisha had previously decided that Basha would be the winner.

Basha was tolerant to their declarations and didn’t enter in details about their declarations, but asked the Democratic members of every level to respect the clear decision of the membership, to understand it and work hard as an opposition.

“Anyone in the Democratic Party can say what he thinks. This goes for the common members and the leaders too. We are a party of free people and of freedom of speech. More than 41.000 members of the Democratic Party gave their clear verdict and my duty is to listen to their voice, and this is a duty of everyone else who wants to commit for a strong and decisive confrontation with the challenges that await us. We must turn these challenges into an opportunity for the Democratic Party, for the hopes and aspirations of every Albanian citizen against the problematic majority of deceit that came out June 23rd”, Basha declared.

Basha made these comments after inaugurating the road that holds the name of one of the Democratic Party founders, Gramoz Pashko. He declared that the reconstruction of this road is another promise kept from him,a s Mayor of Tirana.

Basha opposed the project of the Prime Minister designate, Edi Rama, for letting Institution of Statistics get managed by an European homologue institution.

“This is a dangerous anti-state project that has an only goal, to hie the truth about the future failures to keep the untrue promises of the June 23rd elections. The Democratic Party will defend every institution and the truth. We will reveal every effort to manipulate the truth, as an effort to manipulate the agreement of the June 23rd elections, which is proving to be a lie to the Albanian citizens”, Basha declared.
